Can’t open Facebook and Instagram? Apparently, the social media sites are down!
Social media sites Facebook, Instagram and all of its network went offline on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 or October 4, 2021 (PST).
The outage affects million of users across the globe on both desktop and mobile platform.
While no details about the simultaneous outages, people took to Twitter to keep everyone informed. Hashtags #facebookdown and #instagramdown trends on Twitter worldwide.
This is the first major downtime for Facebook in 2021.
It is not yet known why the famous social website went down. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has yet to release explanation about the incident.
