Bagyong Kiko maintained its strenght, storm signal #4 raised in northeastern portion of Babuyan Islands and southern portion of Batanes – PAGASA weather forecast for Friday, September 10, 2021.
According to PAGASA, as of 7pm today, Bagyong Kiko with international name Chanthu was located at 175 km East Southeast of Calayan, Cagayan.
Typhoon Kiko slightly weakened and now has a maximum sustained winds of 215 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 265 km/h. It is forecast to move west westward at 15 km/h.
Public storm signal #4 was raised in northeastern portion of Babuyan Islands and southern portion of Batanes.
Heavy to intense with at times torrential rains may be experienced over Cagayan including Babuyan Islands and Batanes.
