Bagyong Kiko slightly weakens as it moves over the Philippine Sea, PAGASA said on Friday, September 10, 2021.
According to PAGASA, as of 4am today, Bagyong Kiko with international name Chanthu was located at 280 km East Northeast of Casiguran, Aurora.
Typhoon Kiko has a maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 230 km/h. It is forecast to move west westward at 20 km/h.
Beginning tomorrow evening, heavy to intense rains may be experienced over Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, and northern Isabela. Moderate to heavy rains may also be experienced over Batanes and the rest of Isabela.
