Bagyong Ambo has made landfall over Burias Island and continues to weaken, PAGASA said of Friday, May 15, 2020.
According to PAGASA, as of 4:00 AM today, Bagyong Ambo was located in the vicinity of Claveria, Masbate.
Ambo has a maximum wind strength of up to 125 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 165 km/h. It is forecast to move northwestward at 15 km/h.
The storm will bring moderate to heavy rains in the areas of Bicol Region, Quezon, Aurora, and Marinduque on Friday. Moderate to heavy with at times intense rains over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Aurora, and the northern portion of Nueva Ecija on Saturday.
