Bagyong Ompong has slightly weakened and is now heading to Ilocos Norte.
According to PAGASA, Bagyong Ompong was located at the vicinity of Kabugao, Apayao with maximum sustained winds of 185 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 305 km/h.
