American Idol 2018 Full Broadcast Date and Schedule on ABC


ABC has released the full broadcast date and schedule of the upcoming Season 16 of American Idol.

American Idol will air a 30 minute Spring Preview Special episode on March 4, a week before premiering it’s first audition episode on March 11, 2018.

Auditions will take place at key cities of New York City, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans and Savannah.

Live shows will run for six weeks and will begin on April 15. The two hour American Idol season finale will be on May 20.

American Idol Season 16 is set to premiere on March 11, 2018 on ABC. Ryan Seacrest returns as host while Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Katy Perry as judges.
