Miss Philippines Rachel Peters has made it to the Top 16 of Miss Universe 2017 competition.
The 26-year-old Filipina beauty enter the Top 16 of the Miss Universe 2017 pageant as wild card entry.
The Top 16 candidates were chosen based on their performance during the preliminary competition held last week.
Other candidates who made to the Top 16 by are Thailand, Sri Lanka, Ghana, South Africa from the Asia and Africa region; Spain, Ireland, Croatia and Great Britain from Europe.
Colombia, USA, Brazil and Canada from the Americas and Philippines are Venezuela, Jamaica and China as wild cards.
Tonight, 92 contestants from around the world will compete this year for the coveted crown. Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere of France will crown her successor at the end of the event.
The Miss Universe 2017 pageant is broadcast live on Fox, Azteca and in hundreds of local television networks around the world.
Miss Universe is an annual international beauty pageant that is run by the Miss Universe Organization. It is one of the three largest beauty pageants in the world. It is now owned and managed by WME/IMG talent agency.
