The Metro Manila Council has suspended the classes in Metro Manila, all levels, on November 16 and 17 to give way to the 31st ASEAN Summit.
MMDA Chairman Danilo Lim announced that the Metro Manila mayors “unanimously move for the suspension of classes on November 16-17 for the ASEAN” during their 9th council meeting last month.

The suspension of classes includes private and public schools in Metro Manila.
The 31st ASEAN Summit is scheduled on November 10 to 14. Aside from Southeast Asian leaders, US President Donald Trump is expected to attend the summit.
