The audience disagree with Simon when he told this to Alisah Bonaobra after her performance of “Let’s Get Loud” by Jennifer Lopez on Sunday’s episode of The X Factor UK.
“If I have to give you any constructive criticism is, you at some point, have to put your own unique twist on a song, otherwise it will be considered cabaret,” said Simon while the audience booing him.
He then shout “shut up” to the audience.
Meanwhile, Sharon Osbourne stands for her saying Alisah is more than a ballad singer.
“You have so impressed me tonight, you came out of your comfort zone and it was spectacular,” said Sharon.
Nicole and Louise also gave positive remarks for Alisah.
“I love it, you become this fierce beast wild animal when you get on that stage. You shut it down tonight,” said Nicole.
“You turned into a tiger tonight with an amazing energy. I love the singing and the dancing, it was fantastic,” said Louise.
