Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters is the crowned winner of the recently concluded Miss Universe 2017 pageant held at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas on Sunday, November 26, 2017.
During the final moment of the Miss Universe 2017 beauty pageant, the judges gave the three finalist with taught questions during the Question and Answer (Q&A) Portion.
The Final 3 contestants answered the same question “What quality in yourself are you most proud of and how will you apply those quality in your time as Miss Universe.”
Below are the answers:
Jamaica: “The quality I am most prod of is my drive and determination. I am the owner of a foundation that spreads awareness for the deaf community and this platform is such a great platform that these persons need equal opportunities. Miss Universe will be the platform for me to use this foundation spread awareness for all the deaf.”
Colombia: “I’m incredibly passionate about everything I do. I have discipline. With compassion I put my full self in every situation that I worked out. I’ve done this as an actress, I’ve done this in Colombia and I do not doubt I would do this as Miss Universe”
South Africa: “A Miss Universe is a woman that has overcome many fears and able to help other women. She is a woman that has nothing too much to ask for and that is exactly who I am.”
Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters emerged as winner. Miss Colombia is 1st runner-up and Jamaica finished 2nd runner-up.
Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters will fulfill her duty traveling around the world to represent the Miss Universe Organization and its various causes.
