Nadine Lustre is on ‘healing stage’ from the death of her brother and will be taking a short break from showbiz.
Actress Nadine Lustre is taking some time off from showbiz. The move was due to recent passing of her brother who committed suicide due to depression last month.
The 23-year-old actress is currently not attending her hosting gig at ABS-CBN noontime program It’s Showtime.
According to Nadine, she asked permission from the show after the Magpasikat week and they allowed her to take a break.
“I am on healing stage, it’s not that easy to move on,” said Nadine in an interview.
She said that their family is helping each other to cope up by seeing each other and traveling together.
Nadine Lustre and her family together with James Reid are going to Japan this week. They will celebrate the actress’ 24th birthday outside the country on October 31.
Meanwhile, Nadine Lustre and James Reid are currently preparing for their next movie project, Ang Panday.
James confirmed that Nadine is part of the movie but refuse to reveal her role.
