Foxconn manufacturer ships first 46,500 Apple iPhone X units


Apple iPhone X manufacturer Foxconn has shipped more than 46,500 units, says report.

According to Xinhuanet, the first batch of Apple iPhone X, around 46,500 units, has been shipped from Zhengzhou and Shanghai to countries in Europe and Middle East.

With few weeks before the pre-order began, millions are waiting to get this gorgeous new iPhone on its launch day, November 3 .

However, iPhone X has been widely reported to have shortage of supply due to production issues. Report says that the advance 3D sensor used in Face ID system is causing delay in production.

Rumor also has it that the production of iPhone X units has been reduced from 40 million to 36 million units.

With this circumstances, being the first owner of Apple’s anniversary smartphone will likely be very difficult.

iPhone X starts at $999 in US. The 256GB version costs $1,149. Preorders open on October 27th, shipping begins November 3rd. It will be available in space gray and silver colors.
