This live videos shows how Category 5 Hurricane Irma destroys St. Maarten’s famous Maho Beach.
Taken by the Maho Beach Cam installed at the AAA Rent-A-Car in St Maarten, strong winds and heavy rains can be seen hammering the famous tourist spot.
The camera eventually went off.

Maho Beach is famous for watching incoming planes flying extremely low.
Meanwhile, Irma, a category 5 hurricane, packed with maximum sustained winds of 185 mph, is expected to hit Florida USA by weekend.
It is the strongest storm ever recorded in the Atlantic basin outside the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico.
