Atom Araullo is leaving ABS-CBN after working for the network for 13 years.
TV presenter and news reporter Atom Araullo bids farewell to ABS-CBN ‘Kapamilya’ Network.
The 34-year-old journalist announced the shocking news on Friday’s episode of UKG, September 15, 2017.
According to Atom Araullo, he decided to leave the network to face new challenges and explore other opportunities.
“Although I am taking a new path, I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the company that helped me become the journalist I am today,” he said.
“To all the hardworking men and women of ABS-CBN, maraming maraming salamat,” he added.
Here’s ABS-CBN official statement about Atom Araullo’s exit.
“ABS-CBN has allowed journalist Atom Araullo to explore new interests in film, broadcast and digital media outside of the company.”
Meanwhile, Atom Araullo is set to make his acting debut in upcoming film “Citizen Jake.” He will play the role of Jake Herrera, also a journalist, in Mike de Leon’s first movie in 17 years.
