Senator Trillanes filed administrative and libel cases against Mocha Uson for spreading “fake news” on Friday, September 22, 2017.
The move was his response to Uson’s recent spread of Trillanes alleged offshore bank accounts.
According to reports, Trillanes filed libel cases under the Anti-Cybercrime Law, one administrative case and grave misconduct for performing at a casino.
“The era of fake news is over. Everyone spreading fake news will be held liable under the law. That’s a lesson for all people spreading fake news,” said Trillanes.

Earlier this week, Senator Trillanes went to DBS Bank in Singapore to prove that there’s no such bank accounts under his name.
Mochan Uson and two others are responsible for spreading the alleged DBS Bank of Trillanes on Facebook.
