Justin Bieber has reached 100 million followers on Twitter — making him the second most followed music personality on the social media platform.
“Justin Bieber reaches 100 million followers on Twitter,” the company announced on Thursday, August 31.

The 23-year-old singer becomes the second musician to step in the 100M mark, next to Katy Perry with 103 million followers.
According to Twitter, Justin has been mentioned more than 2 billion times, the word Belieber has been tweeted 84 million times, and his most retweeted message has more than 638,000 retweets.
Other music icons with massive numbers of followers are Taylor Swift with 85.5 million followers, Rihanna with 76.9 million followers and Lady Gaga with 69.5 million followers.
