Ashland Craft sings a country version of ‘You Are My Sunshine’ on The Voice Blind Auditions premiere episode on Tuesday, September 26, 2017.
21-year-old Ashland Craft gets chair turns from Adam, Blake and Miley with her slow-down version of ‘You Are My Sunshine.’
“The Voice is my one chance to really reach my dream,” Craft said before her performance.
“I want us to be this power team of two female artists of a funk-rock Dolly Parton,” said Miley Cyrus.
“I think its important to recognize the traditional sound that you have. There’s a total open lane for you right now,” said Blake Shelton.
“You are such a powerful female country-rock and roll singer. People will gonna be interested in you and me because we are so wrong, it could really be right,” said Adam Levine.
At the end of the judges’ deliberation, Ashland chooses to joined Miley Cyrus.
