But when exactly the new OS update will go live?

Just like the previous OS releases, Apple chooses to push the update at 10 pm in San Francisco local time — 6 pm in UK.

While there’s no certainty, Apple may release the update in different regions ahead of projected time. You may proceed to General setting on your phone and tap Software Update to scan for new updates. If iOS 11 update is available, hit Download and Install.

Expect huge server timeouts due to massive amount of download request.

iOS 11 features Files app, Dock, Drag and Drop capabilities, a more versatile Apple Pencil with Instant Markup, Instant Notes and Inline Drawing functionality and augmented reality for iPad.

iPhones will get Live Photos, redesigned App Store, updated Apple Music, new AirPlay 2, redesigned Control Center, more personal News app and more expressive Siri.
