Raquel Pempengco, the mother of Charice, cries foul in the life story of Jake Zyrus featured on MMK.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Raquel claims that Jake Zyrus tells lies and made up the story about her in the episode of MMK aired on Saturday.
According to Raquel, there’s no truth and the whole story is full of lies.
It’s not true that she ask money from Charice.
“I never ask money for my birthday, she’s giving it to me, and I refused,” said Raquel.
She denies the claim of hurting her daughter and she also clarify that she is not the reason of Charice’s suicide attempt.
“Her non-showbiz girlfriend broke-up with her that’s why she attempt to commit suicide,” said Pempengco.
Raquel Pempengco adds that she did everything to save the career of her daughter.
The life story of Jake Zyrus, formerly known as Charice, was featured on ABS-CBN drama anthology MMK on Saturday, August 27, 2017. The episode tackles Chairce’s transition to Jake Zyrus.
