ABS-CBN Network has released their official statement about the rape case involving their talent, Noven Belleza.
The statement reads:
“Noven Belleza posted bail today in connection with the charge of sexual assault filed with the Regional Trial Court of Cebu City.
Noven asserts that he did not commit the crime charged and he will prove his innocence in the course of the legal proceedings.”

Noven Belleza was arrested after a 19-year-old female local performer from Cebu filed a rape complaint against the singer.
Belleza was put on hospital arrest after suffering chest pain. His case was lowered from rape to sexual assault and was released after he posted bail.
