Charice Pempengco’s grandmother gave her side about the singer’s change of name to Jake Zyrus.
In a video message uploaded online, Charice’s grandmother vents out her disappointments on the singer’s latest move — changing her name to Jake Zyrus.
“Lola ni Charice, Charice Pempengco pa rin ang kinikilala hindi Jake Zyrus. Babae ka, dito sa dibdib ko kita inihihiga pag ikaw ipinatutulog ko,” she said.
“Ipinanganak kang Charice Pempengco, mamamatay kang Charice Pempengco. Binababoy mo ang pagkatao ko, she added.
“Charice ang dami ko ng tiniis at pinagtakpan sayo anak. Nakakahiya sa tao, hindi lang sa tao… sa Dyos higit sa lahat,” she said in the last part of the message.

Charice Pempengco recently change her name to Jake Zyrus. The decision was said her move following her break-up with partner Alyssa Quijano.
