A 5.4 magnitude earthquake jolts Luzon at 10:27 pm on Thursday, May 25, 2017.
According to The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology or Phivolcs, the epicenter was at 15.10°N, 120.04°E – 019 km N 41° W of San Marcelino, Zambales. The quake was tectonic in origin and had a depth 88 kms.
Intensity IV was felt in Quezon City, Pateros, Malolos Bulacan.
Intensity III in Tagaytay City, Talisay Batangas, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, Pasay City, Makati City, Mandaluyong, Paranaque City, Taguig City, San Miguel, Tarlac and Marilao Bulacan.
Intensity II in Palayan City, Bacoor, Cavite, San Jacinto and Pangasinan
Possible aftershocks and damages are expected.
