Liza Soberano will play the iconic role of Darna, according to an article written by well-known entertainment reporter Ricky Lo on Philippine Star.
“This piece of ‘breaking news’ should put a period to the prolonged guessing game who the next flying woman would be, with names such as Kathryn Bernardo, Jessy Mendiola, Nadine Lustre, Pia Wurtzbach and even Sarah Geronimo thrown into the tambiolo,” Lo wrote.
“The final and perfect choice as the new Darna is Liza Soberano,” he said.
His source, Funfare’s VDPA, also claims that Liza Soberano is now undergoing an intense training from a secrete place.
Earlier this year, Angel Locsin, the first choice, announced that she will no longer play Darna due to health reasons.
