Katarina Rodriguez reportedly resigned from her title two days after being crowned as Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2017.
Pep.ph reports that the issue concerns Katarina Rodriguez’s residency.
CNN Philippines also tweeted about the issue saying: “Bb. Pilipinas 2017 Intercontinental Katarina Rodriguez has expressed she may not accept the crown. BPCI is waiting for a formal letter of resignation until today May 2.”
Meanwhile, there were reports that Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Incorporated (BPCI) and Stella Araneta holds a meeting at Novotel regarding the possible shake-up at Binibining Pilipinas 2017 crowns.
