In his opening monologue, Stephen Colbert channels his inner Mariah claiming he also got a technical difficulties with the prompter.

“I’m sorry, there’s nothing in my prompter here. Jim, can we fix that?” he said. Then, backup dancers with feathers suddenly appears.

“I’m sorry, I was not informed. Am I supposed to be singing right now?”

Technical glitches distress her entire performance.
