86 contestants from around the world vies for the coveted Miss Universe title. The Miss Universe 2016 preliminary competition will determine the Miss Universe 2016 Top 12, which will be revealed on the Finals night on January 30.
The preliminary round was judged by former model Cynthia Bailey, publicist Rob Goldstone, Miss Universe 1993 Dayanara Torres, President/Executive Producer of the People’s Choice Awards Fred Nelson, Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori and social entrepreneur Francine LeFrak.
Miss Universe 2015 title holder Pia Wurtzbach and actor Derek Ramsay serves as hosts.
Miss Universe 2016 is the 65th edition of the Miss Universe pageant — Grand Coronation night will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila on January 30, 2017.
Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach from the Philippines will crown her successor at the end of the event.
