Three of the judges choose to save James while Russell got the highest number of votes from the public.
The remaining Top 8 of Pinoy Boyband Superstar are Niel Murillo, Joao Constancia, Tony Labrusca, Russell Reyes, Mark Oblea, Tristan Ramirez, James Ryan Cesena and Ford Valencia.
They will return next week for another round of live performances.
