Mark Anthony Fernandez obtained wound on his left wrist, near the pulse, while inside Angeles district jail.
The 37-year-old actor explained that he got the wound after playing basketball with fellow inmates in the detention facility.
Mark Anthony Fernandez was transferred from overcrowded Angeles district jail to Pampanga provincial jail on Tuesday.
He was placed temporarily in a cell with 3 other inmates but will eventually transferred to a less spacious cell.
Authorities said that the transfer is not a special treatment but for the actor’s safety. Fernandez also have trouble with his blood pressure.
Mark Anthony Fernandez was arrested for possession of illegal drugs in Angeles City on October 3, 2016. About a kilo of marijuana was retrieved from the actor.
