Edgar Matobato, who claimed to a DDS member, was temporality freed from detention at Camp Crame on Friday.
This was after Matobato posted a bail of Php 30K for his illegal possession of firearms and ammunition case at Quezon City Regional Trial Cout.
According to reports, the money came from people who wanted to help him. It was also reported that Senator Trillanes took custody of Matobato before transferring to a religious group.
Matobato surrendered to PNP last week. He submitted himself to the authority after Davao City court issued a warrant of arrest against him after failing to show up at a scheduled hearing.
