YouTube sensation Sam Mangubat is the newest ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ champion after beating the defending winner Emmalou Cruz on Tuesday’s episode of It’s Showtime, August 16, 2016.
Mangubat performs Flying Without Wings while Emmalou Cruz sings Luha in the final round.
The judges gave Sam Mangubat a total average score of 95.6 percent, Emmalou Cruz received 92.4 percent.
