Philippine National Police has made public their new mascot called “PO1 Bato” on Monday, August 1, 2016.
Named after PNP Chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa, PO1 Bato made his first public appearance during the 24th anniversary celebration of Police Community Relations Group in Camp Crame on Monday.
PO1 Bato entertained top police officials and guests with the latest craze “Trumpets” and “Running Man” dance challenge during the event.

Meanwhile, Philippine National Police has launched the new 911 and 8888 hotlines on August 1, 2016.
It was reported that the new 911 hotline handled over 2,475 calls of which only 75 were “legitimate” in the first 7 hours after the launch.
