Comedian Jennie Gabriel is still the defending champion of ‘Tawag Ng Tanghalan’ on It’s Showtime.
She got her 8th straight win after belting out “And I Am Telling You” by Jennifer Hudson on Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
Gabriel received standing ovation from the judges after her performance, watch on the video below.
Gabriel gets a total score of 97.2 percent versus daily winner Cookie Zamora from Visayas with 91.8 percent score from the judges.
Jennie Gabriel will return tomorrow, Thursday to defend her title.
