Tito Sotto is in hot water after making a controversial shaming remarks on Eat Bulaga on Saturday, July 9, 2016.
Netizens criticized Tito Sotto for shaming a show participant who confessed that one of her husband’s friends once took advantage of her while she was drunk.
“What’s to blame here is drinking alcohol. You’re a woman and you’re doing shots?” said Sotto.

Following the remarks, netizens vents their disappointment on social media and branded Sotto as “insensitive” and “gross creature.”
Some even dragged the issue of the alleged rape case of actress Pepsi Paloma in 1982, involving Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon and Richie D’Horsey.
Meanwhile, MTRCB summoned Eat Bulaga officials after receiving complaints about Tito Sotto’s controversial remarks.
In a memo dated July 11, MTRCB invited reps from TAPE and GMA Network in a conference scheduled on July 21.
