ABS-CBN primetime soap “Ang Probinsyano” beats the pilot episode of GMA-7’s new fantasy series “Encantadia” in national TV ratings on Monday, July 18, 2016.
In a survey conducted by Kantar Media, Ang Probinsyano defeated its new rival Encantadia in national tv ratings for Monday telecast.
Ang Probinsyano garnered a nationwide rating of 42.4 percent versus 21 percent of Encantadia.
Ang Probinsyano Monday’s episode feature a tragic scene where Hector Mercurio gunned down Delfin while celebrating his birthday. Encantadia, meanwhile, airs its pilot episode.
