ABS-CBN love team Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo are being criticized after photos of them holding their ballots uploaded online. Netizens says KathNiel violated the rule “no taking photos/selfies inside the precint.”
According to Comelec, taking photos or “selfies” with ballots are not allowed. The offense can be penalized for up to 6 years imprisonment.
Meanwhile, fans and followers of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo defended their idols saying that they are not the ones who took the photos.
Update: Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez called out the attention of KathNiel. “Kathyn, Daniel, we need to talk,” he said.
