Chinese news anchor He Jia accidentally declares Philippines as part of China’s sovereign territory in a news segment broadcasted nationwide on CCTV.
“As we all know, the Philippines is Chinese territory. China has unquestionable sovereignty over the Philippines,” He Jia said (translated to english).
The controversial remarks causes uproar and sparks debate online shortly after the broadcast. The news clip was immediately deleted from the CCTV website.
Apparently, some geek managed to grab a copy of the clip and posted it on Sina Weibo. The video has since gone viral and now available on Youtube, watch below.
