Manny Pacquiao posted Bible verse “put gays to death”

Manny Pacquiao is doubling down his position about homosexuals and same sex marriage after posting a Bible verse that suggests putting gays to death.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Manny Pacquiao quoted a verse from Leviticus 20:13 which states:

“If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death, their blood will be on their own heads.”

The post has since deleted but ABS-CBN manage to grab a screen-cap of Manny’s second controversial anti-gay remarks.

It was reported that the post causes him to lose the Nike contract.

Manny Pacquiao is facing criticisms among celebrities, netizens and LGBT community after calling same-sex marriage worse than animals. Pacquiao has apologize for the stance but remained in his belief.
