A concert featuring Alden Richards at the Philippine Arena was cancelled due to very low ticket sales, says report.
A source told Inquirer that the concert “Sa Totoong Buhay Naman” featuring Alden Richards, which was scheduled on February 20 at the Philippine Arena, was cancelled due to low ticket sales — with only 74 tickets sold.
“The cancellation was the producer’s decision,” according to the source, noting that “only 74 tickets were sold.”
Aside from Alden, promo poster shows other performers which include Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Jerald Napoles, Ruru Madrid, Jon Lucas, and That’s My Bae group.
No official statement from the producers and the cast of the concert yet. We will update this post once we get more details about the issue.
Update: Castiel Production denies the rumor of low ticket sales, revealing that the postponement is due to request of bringing Maine Mendoza to the concert.
“It’s not true, it’s because people want us Maine to join the event,” the agency said.
Below is a video of Alden Richards promoting and reminding tickets owner for further announcement and development of the concert.
