A woman is claiming that she have found a dead mouse in her cup of Starbucks coffee.
According to Jessa, not her real name, she found a dead mouse inside the cup of coffee she bought from Starbucks Addition Hills branch in Mandaluyong City.
Jessa said she and her friends ordered food and drinks at the coffee shop and went out after they finished hanging out. Since, she did not consumed much of her coffee, she decided to bring it home until she noticed something hard inside her drink.
When she check the unusual ingredient, she saw a dead mouse floating inside the cup.
Jessa and her friends went back to Starbucks to complain but the store manager insisted that it did not come from them. Jessa then went to Mandaluyong police station to file an incident report.
Below is Starbucks Philippines’ official statement about the issue.
“At Starbucks, we want every customer who visits our stores to have a positive experience. The safety of our customers is of the utmost importance, and we take our obligation to provide safe products seriously,” the company stated. “We are taking our customer’s concerns seriously and are actively investigating her claim.”
