Cyrus Villanueva is the crowned winner of The X Factor Australia 2015 — Louise Adams finished 2nd, Jess & Matt placed 3rd.
Cyrus Villanueva was the announced winner of The X Factor Australia 2015 on Tuesday, November 24, 2015.
The 19-year-old Filipino descent from Wollongong, New South Wales, who brought powerhouse performances to the top-rated TV contest in Australia, beats Jess & Matt and Louise Adams in the public vote.
On Monday, the Top 3 performed three songs each. Cyrus brought outstanding performances of Earned It, Jealous and his new single Stone.
He also performed “Wicked Game” as his best moment song after being called as one of the Top 2 Finalists on Tuesday’s grand finale episode.
The winner was announced at the end of a two-and-a-half hour finale featuring performances from sisters Kylie and Dannii Minogue, Jason Derulo, Rudimental and James Blunt.
Cyrus Villanueva took home the grand prize and the recording contract deal with Sony Music Australia.
