4th Impact sings ‘Sound Of The Underground / The Clapping Song’ on The X Factor UK

Filipino sisters 4th Impact, formerly known as 4th Power, performed a mashup cover of “Sound Of The Underground” and “The Clapping Song” on The X Factor UK Live Shows Week 2, Saturday, November 7, 2015.

“It was fantastic. I think I would have chosen Boom Clap as it would have been a better song. Apart from that, I thought it was a bit narcissistic to choose your own song for the girls. I thought you looked better than last week, vocals great, harmonies great. You are a band who I know rehearse like crazy and are ready for the real world.” Simon Cowell told 4th Impact.

“I disagree, I thought that worked. When you were talking in the VT, I was like Cheryl is crazy to put those two songs together, but it really worked and it was really cool. Usually before it looks like your concentrating, but tonight it looked like you were having fun,” said Nick Grimshaw.

“Every single judge in here is literally coming. What I loved the most is your identity has morphed into your own even though you’re sisters. It sounded great,” said Rita Ora.

“This was a collaborative effort and I absolutely loved it. It was fantastic,” said Cheryl.

The remaining Top 11 contestants tackles the ‘Reinventions’ theme this week. Each act put their own spin on classic songs and well known tracks.
