Angelica Yap aka Pastillas Girl became emotional while addressing bashers and haters during her segment on ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime” on Thursday.
When Vice Ganda asked Yap how she feels about the sudden experience, Pastillas Girl said she is thankful but she admitted that she is aware of the bashing and negative comments on Twitter and Facebook.
She said that she’s not perfect and she can’t please everyone. She went to the studio with no idea what would happen. She also appealed to public to know her first before judging her.
Vice Ganda quickly support Patillas Girl saying he and other celebrities also receive hate messages everyday on social media.
“It’ hurts because we’re only human,” he said. “If you’re hurt, you are blessed,” he adds.
The hashtag #ItsPastillasTime topped the Twitter trend list on Thursday as viewers showed their full support to the show.
