Despite of obtaining and submitting the certificate of good moral character, Krisel Mallari is still not enrolled at the University of Santo Tomas.
According to reports, Krisel Mallari presented her certificate of Good Moral Character to the College of Accountancy at the University of Santo Tomas on Friday but school officials still need to discuss her admission to the program.
In an interview with DZMM, Atty. Persida Rueda-Acosta said that UST officials would conduct a meeting to discuss the case of Krisel Mallari on Tuesday.
She also mentioned that the dean of the College of Accountancy might be skeptical in accepting Mallari to the program even if she had her CGMC from Sto. Niño Parochial School.
Atty. Acosta pointed out that the CGMC from Mallari’s former school might be in questioned due to the “dispositive portion of Court of Appeals” with collateral word “under protest” appeared on the certificate.
Meanwhile, the university is open to grant Mallari’s scholarship once the school decides to accept her in accountancy program.
