Manila, Philippines – President Aquino endorses Mar Roxas for the 2016 Elections.
President Benigno Aquino III and the Liberal Party officially announced the Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas II as the standard bearer for the 2016 elections.
The announcement was made at the event called “gathering of friends” in Club Filipino on Friday, July 31, 2015.
“Gathering of Friends” was attended by members of the ruling Liberal Party, led by Senate President Franklin Drilon and House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr., and several civil society organizations.
The program also include messages delivered by four representatives from different sectors.
