Video of people avoiding escalators in China is making rounds online.
Due to the recent escalator accident in China, which resulted in death of a mother, people began to show fear of escalators across the country.
In the video that has gone viral on Facebook, people are seen avoiding and checking the end frame of the escalators in different malls in China.

However, the video post draws debate online with netizens saying that the people on the clip are making fun of the incident.
A commenter said, the people in the video are exaggerated and disrespectful while another one thinks that it’s reasonable and nothing funny doing that after the said incident. “I will do the same too, specially when I’m with my family,” he said.
