Japanese actress Maria Ozawa reacts to viral satirical news about her “quibble” with talkshow host and actress Kris Aquino.
In an interview during FHM BroCon event last week, the 29-year-old actress addressed the issue of “being linked to the Philippine president.” Ozawa told the reporters that she would express her apologies to Kris if she was given the chance.
“I was surprised. I don’t know who said it first, but everybody was making a big deal out of it. So if I have a chance to speak to her one day, I’ll just apologize,” she told the reporters.
The issue started when a satirical website published a fake report saying the Maria Ozawa would be willing to date President Noynoy Aquino. Kris, then reportedly said: “How many men have used her?”
Another fake story circulated online saying that the Japanese actress responded to Kris’ remarks about her. “Not many as you,” Ozawa allegedly answered.
Kris also released her statement earlier about the said reports. She denied making any disparaging comments about the adult star.
In her statement to Pep.ph, the host said: “I was never asked so how can I comment? So for me, if they want to create a buzz, I hope they won’t involve me.”
Maria Ozawa is in the Philippines to shoot her upcoming horror film “Nilalang” with Robin Padilla, an entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival.
