Class Suspension for July 7 due to Tropical Storm Egay


The Department of Education announced the suspension of classes for Tuesday, July 7, in the following areas due to bad weather and flooding brought by tropical storm Egay.

Below is the updated list of class suspensions for July 7, 2015 due to typhoon Egay.

ALL LEVELS

  • Laguna Province

SCHOOL

  • Mapulang Lupa National High School

Meanwhile, tropical storm Egay has maintained its movement and strength. In the latest advisory of PAGASA, Egay was located at 225 km Northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte with maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 90 kph.

Storm signal #1 was in effect to the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Batanes, Calayan and Babuyan group of Islands, Northwest of Cagayan and Apayao.

“Egay” is expected to exit PAR by tomorrow morning.
