Angel Manalo and his mother Tenny Manalo of religious group ‘Iglesia Ni Cristo’ claims that their lives are in danger.

In a video uploaded online, Iglesia Ni Cristo leaders Angel Manalo and Tenny Manalo are seen appealing for help because of death threats.
“My Brethren of the Church of Christ, we are appealing to you because our lives are in danger. We hope that you can help us,” said Angel.
“I am appealing to our brethren in the church to help us because there is a threat to our very lives. Please help my children, Angel and Lottie, and their companions. Let us also help the ministers who were taken and until now, have not yet been found. Let us show mercy to them and their families,” said Tenny.
Meanwhile, Iglesia ni Cristo announced on Thursday that they will expel Tenny Manalo Angel Manalo after appearing on the said controversial video.
INC General Evangelist Bienvenido Santiago told ABS-CBN News that there is no truth to the claims of Tenny and Angel, the two are just trying to gain sympathy from their members for them to get back in power.
Rappler also reported that the powerful religious group are apparently splitting.
