Death reports about former child star Jiro Manio have been proven false by actress Ai-Ai delas Alas.
To disprove the spreading rumors that have been circulating on the internet, the actress posted a photo of a healthy and well-groomed Jiro on her Instagram account.
“Here he is, super healthy. He’s totally okay, alive and well. To the people who are spreading rumors that he is dead, please stop. To all my followers, please repost this. Thank you.”
With the help of delas Alas, Jiro is now inside a rehabilitation center after being found homeless and roaming around NAIA, Terminal 3.
She also posted a screenshot of the doctor’s text message about the young actor’s condition:
Good morning followers. Jiro’s father sent me a message last night and now I read something about Jiro from one of my followers. There is no truth to whatever bad things are spreading about him. He is in a good condition in the facility and is recovering. Here is an update about him from his doctor. I hope that those who do not have anything better to do will stop making stories about him. Jiro Manio and Ai-ai delas Alas’ close relationship was formed in Ang Tanging Ina, the movie where Jiro played as one of Ai-ai’s sons until he disappeared from the showbiz industry due to drug addiction and family matters.
