Melai Cantiveros is the crowned winner of Your Face Sounds Familiar, Nyoy Volante runner-up!
Comedienne Melai Cantiveros is the announced grand winner of Your Face Sounds Familiar competition. The result was revealed at the end of Sunday’s live Grand Finals show at the Resorts World Manila on June 7, 2015.
Melai Cantiveros beats Nyoy Volante, Jay-R and Edgar Allan Guzman after getting the highest percentage votes from the public.
The leaderboard shows that Melai Cantiveros garnered 51.93% followed by Nyoy Volante with 24.51%, Jay-R with 16.1% and Edgar Allan Guzman with 7.45%
On Saturday, Cantiveros wows the audience and the jurors with her performance of Miley Cyrus’ hit song Wrecking Ball. According to the judges, Melai is unpredictable and a real entertainer.
Melai Cantiveros took home the 2 million pesos grand prize; half of it will be given to her chosen charity and a trophy. The non-winning three finalists received 2 hundred thousand pesos each and a trophy.
